A waiter which is sometimes known as server is an individual that works in the restaurant. They perform series of function ranging from receiving and welcoming of customers, respond to guest queries and concerns, taking and delivery of customers order
An individual is however required to possess some certain features and qualifications before they can be considered for the position which ranges from having excellent customer service skills, excellent arithmetic skills, goal and detail oriented, capable of lifting heavy objects, strong interpersonal skills, strong and energetic, active listening skills, and able to strictly adhere to instructions.
Required Documentation to Work as a Waiter or Waitress in the UAE
For any immigrant to work in the country, you need a legal document/official backing which is known as a work permit.
Although there’re exemptions when the applicant is a recent graduate from a designated learning institution in the country. However, an individual must have a job offer before he/she can apply for a work permit.
Eligibility Requirement for a Work Permit
Before you can apply for a work permit, the following criteria must be duly met;
